Prepare the Learners
I projected the Blended Learning Lesson Outline on the board and discussed with students the expectations and requirements for each station. I also reminded students that they would have access to all materials via Google Classroom. I showed them the location of each resource in Google Classroom. Students were responsible for accessing the material, reading the directions and beginning their assignment as soon as they arrived at each station. As a class we discussed that the intended outcome of the lesson was to ensure they could read, write, and speak about school life.
Provide the Learning Experience
All students were provided access to a google document entitled, Blended Learning Lesson Outline, that described the expectations and requirements of each station.
Students at Group 1 began their work with me. I modeled simple questions and answers in the target language. Students had a chance to practice these questions and answers with their peers before I asked them the questions individually. Once I determined they could adequately complete the task they were instructed to create a Voki following the guidelines in Google Classroom. The guidelines and link to submit their work can be found in the Blended Learning Lesson Outline. In addition a YouTube video was created to help any student who experienced difficulty with Voki.

Prepare the Environment
The lesson took place in a classroom. Each student has their own device and all devices are fully functioning with the necessary software. Students were instructed to have their device at each station. Student desks were arranged in three groups of 10 or 11:
- Group 1 - Small Group Instruction: The desks were arranged in a U-shape. The instructor had a rolling chair in the middle of the U. This allowed her to see all students and provide individual attention when needed.
- Group 2 - Partner Work: Student desks were arranged in pairs, side by side. Students were encouraged to work together to interpret information but all students were required to submit their own work.
- Group 3 - Individual Work: Student desks were arranged so that all desks faced the wall. The intention is to shield students from any distractions and focus on the task at hand. The teacher could also easily see their computer screens from her small group station to monitor their progress and ensure they were on task.
